Opening Credits.



Promo: John Cena is already in the ring waiting to address the WWE Universe................"The Champ Is Here!!!!!!!!!!" he exclaims, he talks about making Brock Lesnar tap out 5 days ago for the 2nd time in succession to retain the World Championship, and even though he doesn't know what challenges await him in the future, he guarantees that he will FIGHT to the finish to remain Champion.

Just then Punk of Personality plays and down to the ring comes CM Punk, Cena points out that Punk has lost some weight since Sunday, referring to the Tag Titles, but Punk laughs it off, before telling Cena that while he was Tag Champion for 6 months, they only served as a distraction, it was time for him to be World Champion again.

WEEEEEELLLL it's the Big Show...............

The Big Show comes down to the ring, and claims that it is HIS time to be World Champion again..............

As Punk and Big Show stare at each other, the titantron comes to life again............this time Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring.

Cue the WWE Universe start chanting "You tapped out!!!!", something Punk points out to him.

Lesnar claims Cena got lucky twice, and that HE IS the man to take the title, because if he faced CM Punk or Big Show in a 1 on 1 match, he would easily win, so they need to step aside


Finally Teddy Long comes out, he makes a 5 man Battle Royal to determine the new Number 1 Contender to the World Championship, the 3 men in the ring, along with Mark Henry & Chris Jericho.

 

Commentary: They talk about the match just made, while also acknowledging that later tonight Matt Hardy faces Faarooq.

Promo:Brie Bella in the ring talks about Layla's "cowardly" attack on her last week, and that when she wins the Women's Title at Money in the Bank, she, unlike Layla, will be a champion the WWE Universe can be proud of.

Just then Layla comes out, standing at the entrance ramp, she reminds Brie of the times she has attacked Layla in the past month, she also tells Brie that it will be her on her back for the 1-2-3 at Money in the Bank.


Aksana v Summer Rae

Post Match: Kharma comnes down to the ring and delivers a huge Chokeslam to Aksana, as this happens Alicia Fox rushes down to help Aksana, but is caught out by Summer Rae, who takes her down with a giant Spear, before slamming her headfirst into the steel steps and then sending her into the ring, where Kharma delivered another Chokeslam to her

Promo: Sheamus makes his way to the ring accompanied by Ziggler, Cesaro, Steiner & Jinder Mahal, Sheamus informs the WWE Universe that Triple H though he had dealt this group a blow when he sent Fandango to a local medical facility, but on Sunday they sent their own message by also sending Titus O Neill to a medical facility, he informs Triple H that he and his followers will continue to dominate Smackdown, and he can't do anything about it, or he'll end up in a bed next to Titus.

 Teddy comes out to address the situation, he tells Sheamus and his followers that tonight there will be 2 matches...........Jinder Mahal & Scott Steiner will face X-Pac & Scott Hall, and also Dolph Ziggler will face Triple H!!!!!

And the Tag match..................is next!!!!


X-Pac & Scott Hall v Scott Steiner & Jinder Mahal

As Scott Hall & X-Pac make their way to the ring, Sheamus & Cesaro launch an attack from behind on them, before sending them into the ring.

This match is under Tornado rules..........

 

Winners: Scott Hall & X-Pac via Pinfall (X-Pac pinning Jinder Mahal).


Post Match: Clearly not the result they were looking for considering the pre-match beatdown, Steiner & Mahal proceeded to deliver multiple chair shots to the back of X-Pac & Scott Hall as they recovered from the tough match.

  

Matt Hardy v Antonio Cesaro

 

A gruelling contest between these Superstars eventually led to the referee being knocked down by Cesaro, who then delivered a huge kick to Hardy, while the ref was still down, Orton arrived at ringside and threw a chair into the ring for Cesaro to use, which Cesaro duly obliged with by using on Matt Hardy, he then went for the pin just as the referee was recovering.

 

Winner: Antonio Cesaro via Pinfall.

 

And coming up next Triple H goes 1 on 1 with Dolph Ziggler

 

Backstage: As Triple H is making his way to the ring, he is confronted by Jinder Mahal, Jinder wishes Hunter luck in what could be his last match in the WWE, but this is a distraction as Scott Steiner appears behind Triple H

this leads to a backstage brawl, which somehow Triple H manages to walk away from leaving Steiner & Mahal on the ground.

Promo: Daniel Bryan talks about how last week, he closed the door on his rivalry with Punk & Orton, he then goes onto say that after being clocked by JBL last week, that the next time they are in the same ring again, JBL will have 2 options..............Tap................or snap.

Interview: Josh Matthews is backstage with one of the competitors in the upcoming Main Event, Chris Jericho..........

Jericho is asked, how does it feel to be back in line for a World Title opportunity, Jericho says it's been too long since he was in line for a shot, he says he's ready and points to the fact that only last week, he pinned the FORMER World Champion Alberto Del Rio................

As Jericho finishes his interview however, he is suddenly attacked from behind by an irate Alberto Del Rio.............
