Opening Credits.
Commentary: In tonight's jam packed show WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes faces one of his Title opponents for Payback, The Miz.also in action tonight to add a new chapter to their brewing rivalry, John Cena and Tripole H will face each other in Tag Team action.
But we begin the show following last weeks altercation backstage with Trish Stratus going 1 on 1 with Jade.

Post Match: In what some people would class as an upset, Jade celebrated her victory, but clearly agitated by her defeat, Trish would have the last laugh by DDTing Jade in the middle of the ring, before then shouting insults in her direction.
It was at this point that unable to just stand and watch from backstage, Lita came stormuing to the ring, where Trish quickly makes her exit.
Lita still agitated by Trish once more avoiding a face to face, then turned her attention to Jade, checking her condition, and it was at this point that she was jumped by Angelina Love and Velvet Sky......................who beat her down allowing for Trish to now re-enter the ring with a microphone and accept Lita;s challenge..............for Payback.......................and the match will be No Disqualification.
Backstage: Tag Team champions Epico & Primo are confronted by Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara, who request that since Epico & Primo stole Rey & Sin Cara's chance to get a Tag Title shot back in March, then how about they put the titles on the line against them.
However The Colon's don't agree, they refuse to hand out Title shots, they tell Rey & Sin Cara to go out and EARN their respect, then maybe a Title shot can happen.
Promo: Storming down to the ring following being the victim of a sucker punch from A J Styles last week, an irate Samoa Joe declares that A J made a good point last week, it's not all about the money.........it's also about breaking bones.................so he is willing to forego the payment that A J owes him, in return for a 2 out of 3 Submission match next week!!!
Backstage Interview: With Renee Young stand former Tag Team Champions Beer Money............Bobby Roode cuts Renee off, to declare that they are claiming their automatic rematch clause for the Tag Titles, so all these other second rate Tag Teams can wait in line.
Roode then announces that Epico & Primo were underestimated by them last time, but that will not happen a second time, he also claims that Epico & Primo didn't give them enough time to prepare for the Title match last week, seven days was not enough, that is why Beer Money will be taking their rematch at Money in the Bank!!!!
Next up Bobby Lashley is in action against Wade Barrett

Post Match: Ryback then made his presence known by standing at the top of the entrance ramp, where he was then ambushed from behind by Magnus with a steel chair, before Doug Williams then joined in the beatdown on Ryback...................before Barrett in the ring informed Ryback that he had Magnus & Williams standing by in case Ryback tried to injure him before their match next week to decide the Stipulation for their United States Title match at Money in the Bank, but his stupidity has just made next weeks match a lot easier for Barrett, and he can't wait to reveal the stipulation he has in store...............
Backstage: John Cena discusses with R-Truth their match next, Cena wants Truth to get serious out there, because if he doesn't Triple H will destroy him. R-Truth claims serious is his middle name.....................

Post Match: While the pinfall in the ring was happening Scott Hall and R-Truth had begun fighting to the top of the ramp, with the match now over Security came out to seperate Hall & Truth, in the ring Cena watched the scuffle, when Triple H went for a cheap shot, however Cena sensed him coming, evaded and sent Triple H tumbling out of the ring.
And it was at this point that Stephanie McMahon came out, demanded Triple H to calm down, Cena to remain in the ring and then set a match for Payback.............a one and done match between Cena and Triple H.
Parking Lot: Barrett & Doug Williams are recorded having a discussion, with no sound.
And coming up next, the number 1 Contender to the X Division Title, Kaval takes on Heath Slater.............

Post Match: Walking toward the back immediately, not even waiting for the announcement of his victory, Kaval never even noticed Suicide on the Titantron, until he landed on him...................Suicide's message had been received.
Backstage: R-Truth was confronted by Magnus with a referee, but R-Truth managed to get away after a Running Bulldog, much to the anger of Magnus.
In ring Promo: Bobby Lashley reveals he wasn't at Raw last week, because WWE Managemet banned him from the arena, and now he's her, Abyss is not. Lashley claims Management are deliberately keeping him and Abyss seperated because they don't want to pay for Abyss' Medical Bills if Lashley got his hands on him, which is why he will pay the Medical Bills himself, he then demands a match with Abyss, or the WWE may have to deal with the Police instead.
At this point, James Mitchell appears, he informs Lashley that WWEmade the decision to seperate Lashley & Abyss to protect Lashley, but since he won't let it go...................he agrees to the match, but not any match, he specifically requests.......................A Spawn of Satan Match??????
Lashley without hesitation agrees, Mitchell grins psychotically, while the Commentary Team ask, what is A Spawn of Satan Match?
Backstage Interview: With Renee Young stands Drew McIntyre, who last week showed anger at the fact that what he perceived as a deserved WWE Title Match at Payback would now include The Miz in a Triple Threat.
McIntyre claims Miz swindled his way into the match, while Cody made sure to deny McIntyre the win 2 weeks ago, which is why Cody & The Miz should always be alert, because what goes around, comes around.
And now it's time for that Main Event.

Post Match: However before Cody can receive his Title back from the referee, he is blind-sided by a Claymore delivered by Drew McIntyre, who then turns his attention to the grounded Miz, picking hm up and delivering a Scot Drop to him, before seemingly signalling to the back, after a few seconds though, nothing else happened, so he turned to pick up the fallen Title, but instead a now still dazed but standing Cody delivered a shot to Drew's skull with it.
Cody then stood tall with the Title.
