Commentary: Welcome to the final Smackdown before the greatest event of the Summer, Summerslam!!!!!!

In just 48 hours time, Brock Lesnar & The Big Show will clash in a World Title Number 1 Contenders Match, and tonight there will be a contract signing between the 2 men, to make it official, also tonight World Champion CM Punk and Challenger John Cena are part of a HUGE 6 Man Elimination Tag Match .

Promo: But we start the night off with Sheamus occupying the ring along with fellow Misfits Scott Steiner & Antonio Cesaro................Sheamus is not happy that Teddy Long has authorised Triple H's request for the 2 matches he made last week, he feels that Teddy is showing favoritsm toward Triple H and partners prior to their 6 Man Match up at Summerslam........and as such Sheamus demands these matches be cancelled.

Teddy Long comes out, he tells Sheamus he's fed up of the constsnat whining, and after Sheamus' actions last week and the severe damage he did to X-Pac, these matches will NOT be cancelled, in fact the Tag Match is up Next!!!

Promo: Kharnma stands in the ring, she is annoyed by all the talkk about when Layla will cash in her Women's Title re-match, because it is she who will be getting the next shot at the Womens Title, and by doing so will bring prestige back to the Title by winning it back, because she is in a league of her own which none of the other Diva's can reach............just then Layla makes her way to the ring, she enters the ring, however before she can utter a word, the Womens Champion Brie Bella also makes her way into the ring, she addresses Kharma directly............she points out that while Kharma claims she's above the rest of the Diva's, itb was her who lost the Title to Layla in the first place, and it was up to Brie to win the title back, she warns Kharma not to underestimate her, she then suddenly launches an attack on Layla to prove her point...............but Kharma uses the Women's Title to lay out Brie after she has finished with Layla..........

Promo: Daniel Bryan is in buoyant mood, after dealing withn JBL last week, he finally feels redeemed, and is ready to move on with his career which ultimately means becoming World Champion, and that starts tonight with Dolph Ziggler.

Post Match: It was a great to and fro match up, where it could've gone either way, however it didn't go Bryan's way..........as he stood in the ring a little disappointed, suddenly JBL stormed the ring and assaulted Daniel from behind, he then delivered numerous chair shots to Bryan's fallen body..................One final chair shot to the head layed Bryan out cold.........and as JBL stood over him with the chair chair held high, it was pretty clear for everyone to see that JBL was not going to accept last weeks defeat easily.

Backstage: Kharma is cut off by Teddy Long, he tells Kharma that he makes the matches around here, and the only match that he is thinking of right now, is Kharma's Stretcher match against Aksana at Summerslam this Sunday, but due to her actions tonight Kharma is now booked into a No DQ  match against Brie Bella.........

Promo: Teddy Long stands in the ring, he announces that this Sunday Brock Lesnar and The Big Show will collide to determine a new Number 1 Contender for the World Title..........it's time for the Contract Signing.........

Lesnar comes to the ring first.............and then The Big Show...............

The contract is signed and there's a staredown between the 2 contenders.

Kharma v Brie Bella

Kharma has Brie locked in an Octopus Stretch, the pain is there for all to see on Brie's face, she's on the verge of tapping out.........when suddenly the Titantron plays Saxophone music...........the entrance theme of Aksana......................Kharma turns her attention to the entrance ramp, and sure enough out walks Aksana, Aksana points behind Kharma........and as Kharma turns.......Brie swings the steel chair she now holds, crashing it over the head of Kharma.................

Promo: Randy Orton is after answers, and he needs Mark Henry in the ring.

However it is Mark Henry who demands answers, he accuses Orton of costing him his match against Cena last week, and claims Orton is lucky he doesn't drop him where he stands.

Orton claims last week was an accident, and then reminds Mark Henry of his actions 2 weeks ago, when he INTENTIONALLY struck him, and warns him that actions like that have consequences............

Just as things look like they are about to explode, CM Punk makes his way to the ring...............he tells the 2 of them to shape up, he claims that they are ONE SOCIETY, and in his society there is no place for inside problems, he also warns that should there be an implosion, then the person or persons responsible will have to answer to him.

Just then Teddy Long comes out, he feels that there is no chance of reconciliation between Orton & Mark Henry, so he sets up a match for next week, and to add a little incentive, the winner of the match will get an Intercontinental Title Shot at Night of Champions..................

Alberto Del Rio, Brock Lesnar & CM Punk w/ Mark Henry  v Chris Jericho, The Big Show & John Cena

Brock Lesnar was the first Superstar eliminated, after he delivered a Chair shot to Big Show's cranium, as a result The Big Show was then pinned and eliminated by Alberto Del Rio.

The match continued on, and as the feud between Jericho & Del Rio intensified, they ended up fighting all the way up the ramp and were both counted out.........which left us with a preview of the World Title match at Summerslam.

Post Match: Cena wins, is that a preview of Summerslam.........but wait at this point Mark Henry enters the ring, Cena stands firm though, he won't back away from a challenge, but in doing so he took his mind off CM Punk, who with World Championship in hand spins Cena round to face him and then clocks him with the Title, before standing triumphantly over him.

Will CM Punk be standing tall this Sunday?

Triple H v Cesaro

Post Match: Sheamus comes out at the top of the ramp, he begins to approach thew ring, but Triple H cuts him off, leaving the ring he charges up the ramp, an explosive brawl breaks out, and it needs several WWE Superstars to seperate them as the show closes.

At Summerslam though, there will be nobody holding them back.
