Commentary: Following Sunday;s Extreme Rules Pay per View, Micheal Cole gushes over Brock Lesnar's ability to overcome the last minute change. that his World Title defence was suddenly a knockout match; to successfully retain the Title.

However King disagrees claiming that Daniel Bryan was once again screwed out of a wrestling match, which suddenly came down to who could strike quickest and hardest.

And who was responsible for this last minute change?

But onto tonights action, where Kofi Kingston follows up on his word last week by challenging  Brock Lesnar for the World Title................

and following what he saw as a betrayal last week, Bubba Ray will be in action against Big E................

But we start the night off with WWE Chairman, Mr McMaon striding down to the ring.

Promo: Mr McMahon is in a joisterous mood as he prepares to make a major announcement, concerning who he has decided to become the new GM of Smackdown.............

and the next GM for Smackdown is..........................

Daniel Bryan walks out and enters the ring, face to face with Mr McMahon..............

is Daniel Bryan the new General Manager of Smackdown?

But that question is quickly dismissed as McMahon chastises Bryan for interrupting him.................Bryan though once again cuts him off, he claims that McMahon is and always has been Smackdown's new GM, and that it was he who made the Title match a Knockout Match on Sunday............

McMahon acknowledges that he doesn't believe Bryan is Championship material, but reveals that he IS NOT the GM of Smackdown, because this man is..................

the camera pans toward the entrance ramp..............and out strides........................

PAUL HEYMAN!!!!!!!!

Heyman who hasn't been seen since TNA lost at Wrestlemania, when he was in a losing effort against Daniel Bryan...............

And after shaking hands with Mr McMahon; the man he tried to put out of business just 1 month ago; he then turns to Daniel Bryan.....

Heyman reveals that he changed the match on Sunday, because he was doing Bryan a favor, instead of being carried out on a stretcher or worse, Bryan was only knocked out at Extreme Rules, but once again Bryan is crying like a little bitch, so since Heyman is in charge, he will arrange over the next 3 weeks a set of challenges for Bryan, if he passes these challenges he will get one LAST World Title shot...............

And so what are these challenges?

Heyman then leaves the ring, leaving everyone watching and Bryan bemused.....................

And then suddenly storming into the ring and delivering a huge Brogue Kick to the back of Bryan's skull is SHEAMUS!!!!!!!!!

to which Heyman announces that next week he will face the returning Sheamus.

Backstage Interview: Charley Caruso speaks with Sting, who following his head being rammed into the ring post last week by Kane is unable to compete this week, but why does he think Kane has this vendetta against him?

Sting can't answer that question, however at Wrestlemania he fought Kane's brother, The Undertaker, and mutual respect was earned.  However he has no respect for someone like Kane.

Next week Sting will be cleared to compete and he dares Kane to make an appearance.............

And now onto the first match of the night...........

Scott Steiner v Kurt Angle

Winner: Kurt Angle via Pinfall.

Post Match: Kurt Angle approaches Steiner and offers respect via a handshake.............

however Steiner slaps his hand away and leaves the ring without looking back.

GM Office: Paul Heyman is finishing a conversation with The Big Show, a conversation that involves one last match with Matt Hardy, a Last Man Standing match, in exchange for Big Show acknowledging Lesnar as THE World Champion and stepping back from the Title picture.

Big Show then leaves just as Brock Lesnar walks in, Lesnar wants to know ig Big Show is on board, Paul Heyman claims that Big Show understands the situation, but talking of situations, does Lesnar have his situation with Kofi in hand?

Lesnar simply points at his mobile, to which Heyman slyly grins...............

Backstage: Fandango walks up to Titus O Neill, next week they will face one another in the ring, an opportunity for Fandango to remind Management of his talents by beating Titus without breaking a sweat.

Titus wishes Fandango luck, but reminds him that he also has bigger plans and next week will be his opportunity to shine.

But next up, it's payback time for Bubba Ray as he faces Big E...............

Bubba Ray w/ D'Von Dudley v Big E

Post Match: Bubba Ray immediately left the ring following his victory, the camera then panned back to the ring just as Big E was climbing to his feet, then from out of nowhere...........RKO!!!!!!!

Orton then demanded Bubba return to the ring, but Bubba is having none of it, standing just outside the ring, Bubba just did lots of trash talking, suddenly Orton span round, his snake senses reacting to D'Von attempting to ambush him from behind, as a result D'Von ran straight into another RKO!!!!

Seeing his plan fail, Bubba turned and stomped up the ramp and exited...............as Orton signalled that the TNA Title was on his mind, as the WWE Universe cheered loudly..............

GM Office: Paul Heyman ihears a knock on his door, and in walks Maria, dressed in a smart suit, still without a contract.

she starts by groveling to Heyman about his appointment, however Heyman cuts her off, he knows she's after a WWE Contract to be able to wrestle again, but he doesn't believe she should be in the ring as a wrestler....................Maria is astounded.

But then Heyman tells her that that is because as The First Lady of Professional Wrestling, she should be in charge of the Women's roster here on Smackdown, he then hands her the contract and sends her to work................

Mark Henry & Chris Jericho v Cesaro & Dolph Ziggler

Winners: Mark Henry & Chris Jericho via Submission by Mark Henry on Cesaro.

Post Match: As Mark Henry & Jericho celebrated, suddenly Jinder Mahal jumped into the ring to attack, but was quickly despatched over the top rope by Jericho.................

then out strides David Otunga and makes a beeline straight for the ring, but he is cut off by Jericho on the ramp, a fight spills out almost immediately, which eventually gets seperated by security.............

and then suddenly in the ring, Mark Henry is clobbered from behind by his own Intercontinental Title..............and the man holding it is............Jack Swagger!

Backstage Interview: Charley Carusi is joined by Kurt Angle, and following the actions earlier by Scott Steiner, how does Angle want to proceed?

Angle is a man of respect and he will not stand by and let anyone disrespect him in that way, which is why he wants one more match with Steiner, and Steiner can choose the date.

Promo: It has been a long 10 months since she last held the WWE Women's Championship, but finally Layla's time has come again, next in line for a shot at Summer Rae's Championship, she addresses Summer Rae who is at home recuperating from her Title defence on Sunday at Extreme Rules, by letting her know that tduring her next Title defence, she will suffer..............

Suddenly on the entrance ramp, James Mitchell turns up, addressing Layla he informs her that Layla has no idea what suffering is............but he knows someone that does................

and then in the ring a hand bursts through the ring..................and out climbs the returning Rosemary.....................Layla turns and comes face to face with her........Rosemary approaches, but Layla makes the smart decision vacating the ring...............Rosemary doesn't follow, she stands by the ropes and simply points at Layla..........

and then suddenly from behind a hooded woman dressed all in black attacks Layla from behind, sending her into the steel steps and then sending her into the ring where Rosemary was waiting..............

then on the other side of the ring, a second hooded woman appears rolling a casket down to ringside.............

Rosemary drags Layla's body out of the ring and then dumps her into the casket..................but just as she's about to slam the lid shut, James Mitchell orders Rosemary to stop, tonight is not the night, let Layla think about her future............at which point Rosemary and the two hooded figures join Mitchell at the entrance ramp, before leaving................

Backstage: Coming up next it's the Last Man Standing Match between Matt Hardy & The Big Show, but prior to the match Jeff Hardy makes no attempt to downplay his disdain for his brother, who's career has gone downhill...............Matt Hardy though refuses to bite back, he knows his brother is still in there, and he will get his brother back after his match tonight, that;s a guarantee............

Last Man Standing

Winner: Big Show.

Post Match: Following this gruelling match up, Cesaro then ran down to the ring and threw 2 steel chairs into the ring.......................Cesaro then placed one chair under the head of the prone Matt Hardy and handed the other chair to Big Show, who without hesitation smashed the chair over Matt Hardy's skull.............

Immediately EMT's were called to the ring, and as Cesaro & Big Show left the arena pleased with their day's work, Matt Hardy was strapped to a stretcher to be taken to the nearest medical facility.....................

however when the stretcher got to the top of the ramp, the EMT's were stoppes.............as Jeff Hardy stood in the way.........................after a moments pause, he waved the EMT's on, and followed behind, shaking his head as perhaps realisation had dawned on him.............

Backstage: Overjoyed with her official position of power, Maria was going to enjoy this moment, walking into the women's locker room, she spoke directly to Knockouts Champion Gail Kim, still holding a grudge over last week, she informed Gail that next week she will be defending her Title against Kharma in an I QUIT Match...................

Backstage Interview: The Motor City Machine Guns address the claim that their time in WWE so far has been a failure, however they remark that their 2 Title matches have both had stipulations, neither were straight up wrestling matches, and as a result they will prove the doubters wrong by winning WRESTLING Matches to earn their next Title match.

But up next it's the Main Event as Brock Lesnar defends his World Championship against Kofi Kingston.....................

Post Match: Following multiple F5's Lesnar picked up the victory.............then at the entrance ramp, Heyman, Cesaro & Sheamus appeared to applaud Lesnar..........

meanwhile Ziggler had gone to collect the World Title, and he stepped into the ring to hand Lesnar the Title.................Lesnar took the title, and as Ziggler began to applaud, Lesnar slammed the title right between his eyes...................

BETRAYAL!!!!!

Lesnar then left the ring to join up with Heyman and that is where he stood to hold the Title up high................with Sheamus & Cesaro on either side..............
